Well, we didn't get any free candy, but we sure had a great night!! Dinner at Red Robin's with our neighb0rs meant no dishes to wash:) We ate dinner with Angelina Ballerina, Good Ol' Charlie Brown, Batman and Pebbles. We carved some pumpkins, ate a butt load of Jelly Belly's and made some caramel apples. It was a night that ended with blood shot eyes, but many unforgettable memories.
It was so fun to experience such memorable moments with some new faces this year. Jen, Drue and Lake were are newbies this year, along with my coworker Chris and his wife, Melanie. Carissa preferred holding Melanie's hand over mine(when Grandma wasn't around) and was very excited to share some cotton candy with her. She and Nathan basically had two extra grandparents spoiling them for the evening. I was very stoked to win Nathan a big prize in that basketball shooting contest, and mommy won Carissa a Dora doll. It was an awesome day at the fair, and there was no better feeling than my head hitting the pillow at the end of the night.

all park he was beyond amazed, which made it fun to watch his facial expressions and try to figure out what was going on in his dome. He loved the field and danced to the music. He flirted with every girl he saw...married or not. 
He clapped when we clapped and jumped to each and every firework...except for the whole firework show he slept through after the game. Mommy, Carissa and Daddy all enjoyed pretzels with cheese and did n dots. Carissa also danced the night away every chance she got. She also remembered losing her baby unicorn here last time.
Nay called the Angel's game winning home run in the bottom of the ninth, right before the pitcher threw his last pitch. It was a great night out for the family...one we'll have to do again.
I'm not talking about my wild golf shot on the course, Chad, I'm talking about my little girl who's on the verge of womanhood. Well maybe I'm over reacting just a little bit...nahhh:( I can't help but freak out when I think about how fast she's growing up, and before you know it she'll be walking down the aisle... at Ralph's [I wasn't freaking out that bad]. For now I will cherish her and all the wonderful moments we share together. For her birthday we had a little party at Chuck E. Cheese's, which was a LOT OF FUN for ME!!! Pizza, arcades, and a sick performance by Chuck E. and friends [who keep getting creepier and creepier the older I get] made the night a great way to end her special day. Nate Dogg was ready to pull an all nighter, but he was the only one, so he came home with all us party poopers. The prizes suck, but apparently 4 year olds think they rock. Carissa was very happy to get some awesome gifts, and mommy and daddy were happy to see how happy she was. Thank you everyone for being a part of her special day.

of joy this little guy is and at only two weeks old, we share a lot of interests....eating, sleeping, eating, sleeping, choclate milk (although i prefer Hershey's) Little man was a Big hit with the family as you could imagine...even Nate Dogg was interested in him. The trip started off great with some golf for Chad and I. 
I only hit 3 houses if i remember correctly. It was great to be with my bro for some time to just hang out with not much more to think about then what club to hit...Good times Hebert!!! Apparently Carissa must have performed the rain dance because it started coming down Thursday night and stayed until Saturday. Thankfully Michelle was in the baking mood with her little helper Travis, probably due to my contagious need for sweets. Freshly baked carrot cake and chocolate chip cookies along with oreo's and that look from Chad and we were gooooooooooooooood! Thanks mija. 
The childrens museum was a blast for everyone. There was something for all the kids and then some. We never had this stuff as kids.....lucky. Fuddruckers made me feel pregnant, but dinner at the river was sweet. What amazing colors on those mountains, which the camera just could'nt do justice....and all those rocks we threw; Boo-yah!! The Red Rock Amphitheatre was quite the sight for sore eyes...not to mention sore legs after running up those stairs with Nathan on my shoulders. What a list of musicians who have performed there, but, no Zeppelin! It was definitely a cool place to end our time in Denver. Thanks to the Hebert family for a great time in Colorado...where green sauce is the default sauce on mexican food. Enjoy some pics folks

Well, it's come to that time in life where sitting is now a memory...for Renee and I. Nate Dogg is a crawler! He decided on Monday, August 11th that he was ready to take his first step towards manhood, although it was a step that he took on his hands and knees. It has been so exciting seeing my son grow up so quickly, considering that he got a 8lb 12oz headstart. It's hard to believe that he's only four months away from being a year old. I can't wait til we start playing ball and doing
all those wonderful father-son things together. It's amazing how such a strong love can grow in short time and I look forward to my relationship with my son. God has certainly blessed me with this HAPPY boy of mine. Thank You God.

This was our first camping trip as a family and it was no let down. Carissa did an awesome job of hiking to Castle Rock
, Nathan did a great job of getting filthy and Renee did a wonderful job of keeping me well fed. I 'm pretty convinced that I hit my peak weight because dad and Pastor Steve were making some incredible desserts every night, including those "toast tight pies." I had a great time venturing off alone with my camera, some aqua, and a whole lot of rocks to climb and jump from ( I even sported a karate kid pose for all you vatos to see). 
It was awesome keeping up my consistent zero fish catching rate with Drue, Tray and Pops (Glenn) out on the boat. The stars were beautiful, the weather was perfect and the company was great. Hope to be there again in August, right before I meet my newest nephew, Olaf! White Wetback #2.
It was truly a blessing being able to get away from work and the fast paced city life to have some time to enjoy my family and the many beautiful works of Gods ceation.
